I love creating and designing for different communities, focusing on meaningful and engaging user experiences. The projects below showcase my design process and abilities, highlighting my approach to solving complex design challenges. My current projects include a mock redesign for Goodreads, one of my favorite apps for readers. This semester, I’m also exploring interactive design through a Games & UX class, broadening my skills in user-centered design and research.

Groundcover connect: Bridging vendors and readers

As the set designer, I combine my culture with my passion for design. Creating large, mobile physical sets for competitions across the country has given me a unique perspective on the design process, blending creativity, functionality, and storytelling. This experience enhances my ability to think spatially and translate those skills into designing for digital spaces.

Inside Michigan’s first professional design fraternity

Ann Arbor local newspaper Groundcover News supports individuals experiencing homelessness by employing them as newspaper vendors, helping them earn a direct income. I designed Groundcover Connect, an app aimed at improving these interactions by enabling users to easily locate vendors, read their personal stories, and purchase papers directly through the app.

Michigan Wolveraas : competitive raas/garba team

As a new member of Alpha Theta Delta, a professional design fraternity, I honed my design and technical skills through weekly assignments. These included learning tools like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, and HTML/CSS, while collaborating on creative projects with fellow members.
